Log In on Your Phone With a tdata Telegram Account

The account number and a login code read in Telegram Desktop, used to sign in on a phone

A tdata archive from TgAccounts is made for Telegram Desktop. Phones have no place to put a tdata folder, so you cannot copy it over. What you can do is add the phone as a second device: sign in there with the account's number and read the login code on the computer. If the desktop is not running yet, start with the main login guide.

Before you start

  • The account open in Telegram Desktop, with the chat list showing and the app online.
  • The official Telegram app installed on the phone (App Store or Google Play).
  • The cloud password, if your listing includes 2FA. It sits in the archive, in a small text file such as 2fa_password.txt or inside the .json file.

Four steps

  1. On the computer, open Settings in Telegram Desktop. The number is printed under the account name. Note it together with the country code. It usually matches the name of the .session or .json file too.

  1. On the phone, start Telegram, pick sign in with phone number, choose the country and type the number.

Type the same number into the phone app.
  1. Look at the computer. The chat list now has a message from Telegram, marked with a blue check, carrying a five-digit login code. No SMS is sent while another device is signed in.

  1. Enter the code on the phone. When it asks for a password, type the cloud password from the archive.

If something goes wrong

No code on the computer. Make sure Telegram Desktop is connected, give it a minute, then tap resend on the phone once. Repeated requests can lock code sending for a while.

The phone says the code was sent by SMS. Telegram did not see the desktop online. Open it, wait until the chat list loads, then start over on the phone.

The phone cannot end other sessions. Telegram blocks that for a session's first 24 hours. Nothing is wrong with the account.

Leave the desktop signed in once the phone works. Future login codes go to a signed-in device, so signing out everywhere can lock you out for good. Do not change the password, 2FA or number in the first days, keep one stable connection, and stick to light, normal use while the account settles.

Warranty

If an account does not work as its listing says, open a ticket from your order page within the warranty window shown on the listing. Name the account (the phone number is enough) and attach a screenshot. It is replaced from the same listing, or refunded if the listing has run out. Signing in never voids the warranty. Bans caused by bulk or automated activity are not covered. More accounts in the catalogue.
